11 after its release, Cities Skylines welcomes a new feature that changes everything


Although a new episode has seen the light of day, Colossal Order and Paradox Interactive have just released unexpected new content on Cities Skylines, the first of its name.

Faced with the difficulties encountered by the second opus, the Paradox Interactive teams are returning to the first Cities Skylines. 11 years after its release, the game proves that it still has it in its belly. A new feature has just arrived on PC and console, offering you great additional hours of play. It’s time to relaunch it (and go all out, so to speak).

Cities Skylines picks up speed with its new DLC

Did you think that Paradox and the Colossal Order development teams had turned the page on Cities Skylines? While the second episode has been available since 2023, the first returns to the forefront in an original way for a game of the genre. In fact, the city-builder has just welcomed a DLC that will make you rethink the way you drive in the city.

Released on March 10 for the 11th anniversary of Cities Skylines, theexpansion Race Day gets you on track. A whole bunch of new tools are being added to the game so you can build your own circuits and create must-see destinations. It’s then up to you to set up events to see runners and other drivers set off on the track on foot, by bike or by car. A real dream come true for the fans!

The Cities Skylines Race Day DLC is available on PC, PS4, PS5 and Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. It even comes with new achievements and trophies. Priced at €12.99 alone, it is also available in a new special pack alongside the Renewed History, Iconic Brutalism and 8 Gear Radio expansions.
