From the shadows, Assassin’s Creed Shadows has been struck by a Leak which reveals that Aubisoft would prepare a big surprise for its last flagship title.
Just over a month after its release, the development ofAssassin’s Creed Shadows is far from over. The title must indeed receive additions of regular content in the future, such as DLC. But a recent Leak reveals that another element hitherto the object of rumors would also be good in the boxes for this episode taking place in feudal Japan.
The shadow of a big surprise is looming for Assassin’s Creed Shadows
Long before its release marked by numerous reports, various reports suggested that Assassin’s Creed Shadows would be entitled after its exit to a cooperation or multiplayer mode, deployed as part of a major post-launch update. However, we had not heard of it, however, until this recent discovery by the Sliderv2 moder. By searching the game files, it has indeed detected meaningful signs in the text of the title documents.
On the publication x.com below, it indeed reports Three mentions of a multiplayer mode or related elements. So we find lines of text such as ” RED_PVP_MAPS “Or” RED_PVP_GYM ». As a reminder, RED is the code name used internally by Ubisoft for Assassin’s Creed Shadows. This could therefore indicate that the French giant would work well on the integration of a multiplayer mode on the title, which is more opposing different players. However, there is a priori a reference to any cooperation mode.
In any case, the addition of a multiplayer mode on Shadows would end more than ten years of absence of such a functionality on a title of the franchise. The last with such a mode was indeed as a reminder Black Flag released in 2013, whileUnity Released in 2014 had abandoned the PVP to offer cooperation missions. However, it remains to be seen the consequences of the potential addition of a multi mode on Assassin’s Creed Shadows for Invictuswhich must be an exclusively multiplayer game. It will be necessary to wait until Abisoft officially manifests to be clear.
