As part of an interview published on the official Nintendo America channel, Naoki Hamaguchi has indeed heavily implied that FF7 remake’s consequences could also be entitled to the same treatment. “I am hopeful that we can establish a solid partnership between Nintendo and the brand Final Fantasy » he says in particular, before adding: “I hope the players are impatient to discover the Final Fantasy 7 Remake series on Nintendo Switch 2”. After that, no doubt that Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will follow, therefore.
The creator did not fail to share his enthusiasm at the idea of carrying the series on the new Nintendo console, which is a manufacturer for which he has a very particular affect. “This is the first time that I have the opportunity to create something for a Nintendo Switch console, and it’s very special for me” He confides after revealing that he has been in the profession for twenty-four years now. “And the fact that this happens with the FF7 Remakes series […] gives me the impression that it was fate ”.
