GSC World recently unveiled the Stalker 2 roadmap: Heart of Chornobyl, while promising a novelty for fans of the first games.
Despite all the obstacles, STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl could see the light of day. And despite the faults, we must admit that it is an unexpected return which forces respect. In its current form, this suite collects 81% positive opinion on 85,189 assessments posted on Steam. After stabilizing the performance and providing better graphics, the title will review other improvements and corrective in the coming weeks. Ultimately, humans will be smarter in combat, mutants will have more varied reactions, and there will still be other optimizations with regard to the time of compilation of shaders or the support of ultra-large screens.
A better version of Stalker’s debut arrives …
The roadmap, and therefore the novelties From Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl for 2025, was unveiled by GSC World. And the developers still have work to do to get closer and closer to the vision they had before being caught up in the war in Ukraine which upset their daily lives. In this list of improvements, additions and fixes, the studio has talked about S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Legends of the Zonethe remastered trilogy comprising S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky et S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call of Pripyat.
In 2024, GSC World released Stalker Legends of the Zone Trilogy on PS4 and PC consoles. Shortly after, the team confirmed that there would be a free PS5 and Xbox Series X | S update, but also on PC. We do not yet have all the details this patch, but we know that it will contain graphic and performance improvements, as well as other features. And there is a surprise excellence for fans of the first hour being that the PS5 and Xbox Series X | s versions Stalker Legends of the Zone Trilogy were recorded by the Taiwan classification organization. Unless last minute problem, the update will therefore be available in 2025.
