Diablo 4: The Crossover Berserk is already controversial, it’s overpriced for players!

Just launched, the collaboration between Diablo 4 and Berserk already arouses controversy. In question: the absolutely exorbitant price of bundles offered for simple cosmetic objects.

Teased for several weeks by Blizzard, crossover Diablo 4 x Berserkwhich pays tribute to the emblematic work of Kentaro Miura, is officially available. In other words, those who wish can now have access to a series of ornamental objects inspired by the Manga universe, and thus shine as it should be on the battlefields of Estuar. We were able to maintain ourselves with the Blizzard teams during an interview about this event. Nevertheless, you might as well warn you immediately: it has an exorbitant cost, and the rumble of players naturally starts to be heard.

The Diablo 4 x Berserk crossover is expensive!

Indeed, if the publisher has never hidden the fact that these would be premium objects only accessible via the game shop, it was well kept to reveal its prices. And today we understand better why! Because at the great amazement of players, It appears that the complete set requires paying the modest sum… of 149.99 €. Yes, you read that right! Knowing that there is no grouped purchase offer at a reduced price, including if you buy several bundles at once.

But how to explain such a price? Quite simply by the fact that on the six Berserk sets available, five of them are offered at a price of 2,800 platinum pieces (the currency of the game), against 2,500 for the last. This makes a total of 16,500 pieces to be paid, knowing that the only pack allowing to obtain such an amount is that of 18,500 pieces, which therefore costs € 149.99. Suffice to say that it does not fail to make a few teeth cringen in Diablo 4 players, and especially in detractors of microtransactions.

A limited offer in time

However, it is always good to remember: These are only cosmetic purchaseswhich are therefore purely optional. What’s more, It is obviously not compulsory either to get the full setwhich is made up of all the following elements purchaseable per unit:

  • The Berserker Armor of the Barbarians (2,800 platinum pieces, € 24.99)
  • The armor of thieves light (2,800 platinum pieces, € 24.99)
  • The fighting thieves’ armor (2,800 platinum pieces, € 24.99)
  • The Knight Skeleton of Necromancers’ Armor (2,800 platinum pieces, € 24.99)
  • The steady frame of the way and its armor (2,800 platinum pieces, € 24.99)
  • Le Schnoz pet (2,500 platinum pieces, € 24.99)

You are free, therefore, to crack or not for one or the other of these items if the heart tells you. If necessary, do not think too long because they will not remain forever. Blizzard has indeed confirmed that they will not be available for purchase until June 3, when the Diablo 4 x Berserk crossover will end.
