Almost three months after its digital release, Tomb Raider 4-6 Remastered finally formalizes his arrival in a physical version, with a collector’s edition!
Collectors, physics lovers, this news is for you! On February 14, only one year after the release of Tomb Raider 1-3 RemasteredAspyr and Saber Interactive stood with the suite of the adventures of Lara Croft. On the program this time: the last three opus developed by Core Design, gathered in a new soberly baptized compilation Tomb Raider 4-6 Remastered. But then again, only a digital version of the game has been offered so far. Fortunately, it will very soon change.
The physical editions of Tomb Raider 4-6 Remastered announced
Indeed, like Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered, episodes 4-5-6 of Tomb Raider will also be entitled to a physical version. The information has recently been confirmed by Limited Run Games which reaches its production again. Two editions will then be available. The first, the standard edition, will only offer the game in box format on PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch. The second, the collector’s edition, will be accompanied by a series of goodies.
Be careful however, do not expect such a supplied collector as the previous one could have been. For this second batch of remasters, Limited Run Games seems to have revised its ambitions downwards. In addition to the game in physical format on the aforementioned platforms, you will thus be entitled to a selection of music on CD, lithographs in the colors of obscura paintings, pines inspired by the amulet of Horus and Iris, and finally a keychain with the weapons of Lara. All in a pretty trapezoidal box.
No announcement in France for the moment
The advantage, however, is that the price of this collector was also revised downwards. It will only cost you $ 79.99, shipping costs not included. It is much less than that of Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered, which was in hundreds of dollars. As for the standard edition, no surprise: $ 39.99 will be enough. You will nevertheless have noticed that the prices we give you are in dollars. Don’t panic, that’s normal! Because at a time when these lines are written, only Limited Run Games offers for the moment these editions for sale.
Like the first compilation, Tomb Raider 4-6 Remastered should however soon be offered for sale by us. In any case with regard to the standard edition, because there is a big chance that the collector’s edition remains a limited exclusivity limited Run Games. The opportunity to emphasize that yes, this time, no Deluxe edition seems to be on the program. Finally, note that the collector’s pre -orders will start on May 13 and will end on June 15.
