Mindseye, the GTA-like, officially reveals gameplay after the Leaks

Mindseye is revealed a little more before its release, just to raise the pressure around this ambitious game that remains, it must be admitted, still quite mysterious for many players.

Planned to take out the June 10 on PS5, MindsEye Continue to be talked about … without really revealing himself. Developed by Build A Rocket Boythe studio founded by Leslie Benzies (former producer of GTA), this solo narrative action game was eagerly awaited. But a few weeks before its release, we still don’t really know what to expect. And the latest gameplay video, barely 30 seconds, does not help see more clearly. The whole thing comes shortly after the Latest Leaks.

A trailer that shows little for Mindseye

In this short extract from Mindseye, we see shooting sequences, driving, and some urban decorations. Visually, it holds up. But everything rose to a frantic pace, without context or real staging. Clearly, we guess the main lines (third-person action, futuristic atmosphere), but we don’t understand much about the game itself. No indication of the structure, neither in tone, nor on the mechanics.

Since his announcement, Mindseye has adopted a fairly discreet communication. This silence intrigues. Especially for a game supposed to be narrative, solo and ambitiousand who arrives very soon. Some see it as a strategic choice, a way of creating the mystery. Others are worried. Especially since the first gameplay leaks, which occurred recently, left a mixed impression. Rigid animation, a little generic action … Nothing catastrophic, but not necessarily reassuring either.

Opinions are shared

The players are curious, but careful for Mindseye. Some evoke a game that smells of the old -fashioned “B series”: imperfect, but fun. Others already think of waiting for a big promotion or a quick arrival in the PS Plus. The names of Leslie Benzies obviously arouses interest. But for many, MindsEye For the moment a vague project, which does not really say what it is. An action game? An open world? A linear narrative experience? For the moment, it is impossible to decide.

Less than a month of launch (June 10, 2025), Mindseye remains an enigma. The trailer does not reassure, but it does not repel either. And that is perhaps what makes the project so fascinating, we do not know if it will be a good surprise … or a big disappointment.
