A mystery of Final Fantasy 7 finally resolved

The main antagonist of FF7, Sephiroth quickly became an emblematic character of the franchise, which he sometimes went so far as to go beyond the borders to appear in other games. Questioned on this subject by the Polygon media, Nomura, who is the original creator of the character, then confirmed the information. But unlike the hypothesis issued by some players, it turns out that it has nothing to do with any technical constraints. On the contrary, it is a deliberate choice on the part of the teams, which constantly adapt according to their desires according to the games. “With each appearance, the length of his sword is adjusted according to the specifications of the title” reveals the developer.

“I have an approximate guideline indicating that her sword should be about three meters long, but it has never really been connected in any of his appearances, including in FF7 Rebith, or in any merchandising, etc. »» he then adds.
