If you have not followed, this is a new horror game that will keep the advances made by the studio in terms of gameplay. Clearly: it will not be a horrific simulator walking. And this is good news all the more since the title looks more promising and still impresses with its unprecedented trailer.

Cronos The New Dawnthe player embodies a traveler, at the service of the collective, which is “Responsible for browsing the desolate lands of the future in search of temporal flaws that can bring you back to Poland in the 1980s”. The change, a cataclysmic event, is responsible for the transformation of the world where the danger is now omnipresent. And since it is a horror game, the traveler will necessarily be confronted with a whole horde of monsters. But there is a particularity. In Cronos The New Dawn, if you don’t take care to burn the corpses of creatures, you expose yourself to even greater dangers. Indeed, enemies have the capacity to absorb their fellow men to come back stronger, in particular by grabbing their skills.
The new gameplay trailer for Summer Game Fest 2025 still offers unpublished extracts from gameplay from Cronos The New Dawn where the character explores the various places in this world, inspired by the real district of Nowa Huta in Krakow in Poland, including a hospital or an asylum. At the start of the video, we also see the traveler approaching another dead traveler to collect his data and perhaps learn more about what happened. The voice-over also warns that the monsters are of exceptional aggressiveness and that the nest must be destroyed as quickly as possible to survive.
