NVIDIA has just unveiled its new range of graphics cards, the GeForce RTX 5050, coming in the summer. Technologies, power, price, we tell you everything you need to know.

Yesterday, the American multinational officially lifted the veil on its next range of graphics cards, the GeForce RTX 5050, which will allow more players to take advantage of the power of the Blackwell RTX architecture to run their games in the best possible conditions. Available from the second half of July, it then promises a considerable power gain for users in view of the on-board components.
Nvidia unveils its new GeForce RTX 5050 range
“Each GeForce RTX 5050 graphics card is powered by a single 8 -pin PCIE cable and consumes a maximum of 130 watts at normal speed, making it ideal for systems with a 550 Watts power supply” Explains Nvidia to start. With a basic frequency of 2.31 GHz, they are also equipped with 2,560 cuda cores, 5th generation tensor cores, 4th generation Ray tracing hearts, a 9th generation NVIDIA (NVENC) encoder (NVENC) of 9th generation, a 6th generation NVIDIA (NVDEC) decoder (NVDEC) of 6th generation and finally 8 GB of GDDR6 memory.
Thanks to this, the GeForce RTX 5050 wants to be an average of 60% faster in rager than the RTX 3050 on a whole range of games, and up to four times faster in the event of support for DLSS 4 technology. The first laptops equipped already available
In terms of laptops, on the other hand, the first models equipped with the GeForce RTX 5050 are already starting to arrive in the different shops around the world. Sold from € 999, they then embark the same technologies as for office computers, to which are added 8 GB of GDDR7 video memory (VRAM) turning at a speed of 24 GBPS. Twice as efficient in energy as the GDDR6 memory, this allows NVIDIA partners to include the RTX 5050 GPUs in fine and light PCs whose autonomy is prolonged, without release of heat or excess noise.
