Developed by 24 Entertainment, the title has indeed taken everyone short with an extremely attractive first trailer, which seems to promise us a solo adventure that is both epic and intense against the backdrop of Chinese history and culture. And against all odds, it would seem that the release of the game is much closer than we could imagine.
An outing from 2026 for Blood Message?
This is in any case what the insider Lunatic Ignus claimed in a tweet published on X, which contains some interesting information on this future Blood Message. First of all, the title would have been validated by Netease in 2018, even if its development would not have started until a few years later, in 2021. If he recalls many games like Ghost of Tsushima, Uncharted or Assassin’s Creed by certain aspects, it is actually God of War Who would have served as a main source of inspiration at 24 Entertainment, which would not be really surprising either.
Still according to the Insider, Blood Message should normally have been announced in 2023. It is however ignored the reasons which could have pushed Netease to change his plans in this way. Nevertheless, this could then explain why the title, which has not for the time being neither consoles, nor an output window of announced, would actually come out much faster than we imagine. Because if we believe the information of Lunatic Ignus, Blood Message could land in the second half of next year, between July and December 2026 more specifically.
And like any AAA of this caliber, it would then be offered at a price of $ 70, or € 80 in our French countries. Finally, last little funny anecdote, the director of Blood Message would be a very close friend of Feng Ji, to whom we owe Black myth: Wukong. The title of Netease, so far renowned for its MMORPG and other online games, could thus take advantage of the experience of the latter, which was in the running for the Goty 2024 price in front of games like Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirthor of course Astro Bot.
