Dune Awakening deploys a whole new update which should correct many concerns encountered by the players. What make the gaming experience much more pleasant.
Dune: Awakening continues to refine. The last update, numbered 1.1.10.0, has just arrived. Less impressive than the previous reshuffle of Deep Desert, it is nonetheless essential. Because this time, Funcom is attacking fundamental problems. Bugs that directly threatened the game economy … and the experience of players.
End of abuses on resources and equipment on dune: Awakening
First major change on dune: Awakening: a glitch made it possible to duplicate certain resources endlessly. In a game where rarity makes all the tension, this type of feat completely broke logic. Good news, the bug has been corrected. The same kind of problem also existed at the time on Conan Exiles.
Another long -awaited correction on a dune: Awakening, a flaw that made it possible to repair all the objects without cost. No need to wonder why some players seemed indestructible. These two adjustments restore value to materials and put a little justice in the ruthless universe of Arrakis.
More fair fights, a more fluid exploration
Funcom also took the opportunity to correct several small concerns that affected Dune’s gameplay: Awakening. Some diverted ways to increase the damage in combat have been removed. The balance between factions has been revised, especially in the Hagga Basin region, where attacks became too frequent.
On the vehicle side, things are also improving. It is now easier to enter a machine, regardless of the angle. A bug that made it possible to cross the force fields (Pentashields) was also deleted. Result: less cheating, more clarity on dune: Awakening.
The patch also adds several well thought out improvements. Now, sandworms will stay a little longer around freshly emptied spice fields. A detail, but which adds suspense. Three new weapons are also appearing in the Asmara Efendi store. And new comfort options make everyday life easier: reappearance at certain control points, simplified inventory management in the ornithopter, and automatic masking of empty loot containers. Even streamers are gaining: a special mode mask now the name of their sector, to avoid stream sniping.
