The Witcher: A new game in physical version announced for France

CD Projekt Red and its partners were determined to celebrate the 10th anniversary of The Witcher 3 as it should spoil its fans around the world.

On May 18, The Witcher 3 already celebrated his tenth anniversary. And yes, ten years already CD Projekt Red has slapped everyone with its deep open world, its narration to the little onions and its quests which were finally worthy of interest. It has also been ten years that Geralt put his hands on Gwent’s cards, the Ô so addictive mini-game that diverted us from the main quest. And if you are one of the addicts to card games that regret the closure of its adaptation in play, the studio had a last surprise in its sleeve to celebrate this symbolic anniversary.

The Witcher 3 Gwent arrives in printed version

The Americans have had their release date for a long time, it is the turn of France. It is therefore the Gigamic publisher who will take care of distributing the card game GWENT in our beautiful country at the start of the 2025 school year. If you had missed the info, the emblematic mini-game of The Witcher 3 will therefore have the right to its own physical version on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the RPG. We will therefore find the basic rules and the magnificently illustrated cards which are divided into five factions: monsters, Nilfgaardian Empire, northern kingdoms, Scoia’tael and Skellige.

The physical edition of Gwent was therefore designed to faithfully reproduce the digital experience of The Witcher 3. The game can thus be played from 1 to 5 players for games of around 25 minutes. It is all 444 cards, 9 tokens and a tray that will be included in the box, which will be Billed 35 €. Pre -orders will open on a later date, but we suspect that the unconditional fans of The Witcher 3 will rush on it. However, this adaptation has been developed to please both experienced players, competitive and newcomers.

Are you going to crack for this physical version of the Gwent?
