Dune: Awakening continues its short way and improves its gameplay with a whole new update, inspired by the returns from the community.
Funcom continues to refine the experience of Dune: Awakening. The last update, stamped 1.1.15.0brings important changes on the PVE side, especially in the areas of Deep Desert. This evolution aims to make exploration more accessible, without sacrificing the tension specific to the universe of Dune. THE patches are linked.
Rare resources finally accessible solo for Dune Awakening
So far, Rang 6 resources were only available in the PVP areas of the Deep Desert of Dune Awakening. Suffice to say that you had to be ready to fight … or to flee. With this update, Funcom finally offers an alternative: these rare materials can now be found in zone PvE.
Certainly, their density remains lower than PVP. But for the players of Dune Awakening who prefer to avoid clashes, this is excellent news. This makes it possible to continue the solo progression, to the endgamus, without having to risk its equipment or your playing time.
More spices, more action
Another notable change on a Awakening: the spice field frequency is revised upwards. Average areas go from 5 to 8and the small from 22 to 30. This rebalancing makes exploration more fluid, while limiting competition between players. It is also a clear signal: Funcom wants us to spend more time playing, and less waiting for a resource to reappear.
On the technical side, this update rule several annoying problems of Dune Awakening. THE contracts impossible to finish were corrected. Likewise, players will no longer lose their awards if their inventory is full: they will only be delivered if in the place is available. Finally, the patch improves the general stability of the game. A crucial point for long sessions in the desert, where every minute can be decisive.
