Faced with the presence of many cheaters in the game, Ubisoft has deployed an emergency update for the PC version of Rainbow Six Siege X. This is what it changes.
After a decade of good and loyal service, Rainbow Six Siege recently started a new major chapter in its history with Rainbow Six Siege Xthe anniversary update of the ten years of the title. Indeed, to celebrate this beautiful level as it should be, Ubisoft wanted to do things well by bringing many changes to its tactical shooting game, which has built a solid community over the years. Unfortunately, everything did not go as planned for the launch, which today pushes the studio to react.
Rainbow Six Siege X Fight against cheaters
We told you about it in an article published it was not later that yesterday, Ubisoft had for example withdraw one of the operators of the game, Castle, due to a gameplay flaw exploited for bad ends by clever little ones. And it turns out that this is not the only problem raised by the Rainbow Six Siege X community, since other players obviously seem to have found new ways to cheat. This is why the studio deployed yesterday an update intended to remedy it.
On the other hand, the details of the fixes made for the occasion are unknown, apart from the fact that they aim in particular to block the use of third-party software which has not been appointed by Ubisoft. It should be noted that the patch in question was only deployed for the PC version of Rainbow Six Siege X in the immediate future. It may thus be that the latter is more affected than the others by cheaters, the possibility of installing various software making naturally easier any attempt to influence the parts in one direction or another.
“We appreciate the diligence of your reports and thank you for your patience while we attack these problems” specifies Ubisoft in its press release. Because unsurprisingly, this patch is probably only the first in a long series intended to make Rainbow Six Siege X a safe place for all the players. And there are now many since the title, formerly paying, has now adopted a modèle free-to-play On the occasion of his last big June update.
