Battlefield 6: A homecoming that will please players

Battlefield 6 should truly delight players, with a homecoming that will fill tactic lovers as well as fans of the Bachelor before the 2042 episode.

As approaching the release of Battlefield 6DICE begins to reveal the main lines of his multiplayer. And a new presentation video has just confirmed important information: the open beta will finally allow players to find, if they wish, a system of weapons locked by class. A real answer to criticism? Not quite. But a compromise that could do good to the community.

Two ways to play, two philosophies for Battlefield 6

From Battlefield 2042the class system has lost its identity. No more well -defined roles. Players could equip almost any weapon, whatever their soldier. Result: less readability, less strategy, and a loss of team spirit. A good part of the fans has never really digested this change and especially do not want that for Battlefield 6.

With Battlefield 6, Dice does not go completely back. But offers a choice. During the beta, two playlists will be available. The first will operate in “free weapons”. The second will impose so -called “signature” weapons, specific to each class. A return to the basics for those who want to find the sensations of the ancient opus.

A solution to calm tensions

The announcement was made on the official Battlefield account, in a post summarizing the philosophy of the studio: “Why not both?”. Rather than imposing a unique system, Dice prefers to let the players decide on Battlefield 6. A way to appease the debates that have been agitating the community for several years.

Concretely, this system of playlists will allow everyone to find a shoe at their foot. Tactical realism lovers will opt for the “closed” mode. Fans of freedom and experiments will remain in the “free” mode. The intention is laudable. But will that be enough for Battlefield 6?

A real solution or a simple test?

Proposing both systems from beta is a strategic decision. It will test the preferences of the players, to observe the flows, and perhaps adjust the modes according to the returns. But a question remains: will Battlefield 6 will end up favoring one of the two systems?

Because in reality, everything will depend on the community. If the majority opts for free mode, the classic system may empty little by little. Conversely, if the old model returns to popularity, DICE could decide to make it the basis of the long -term game. It will therefore be necessary to follow this closely in the coming months.
