Through an interview with Todd Howard, Bethesda officially persists and signals that Fallout fans are going to be spoiled in the more or less near future.
Although more than 10 years separate us from the release of the last real issue of the series which was the fourth, and that Fallout 5 is still not in sight, the boss of Bethesda, Todd Howard, officially affirms again in the context of a recent interview that unannounced projects around the famous post-apocalyptic license are indeed in preparation.
Fallout projects would grow like mushroom clouds at Bethesda
Considering the fact that Bethesda’s last real game is Starfieldreleased in 2023, with the mixed success we know, and which the studio is currently mainly working on The Elder Scrolls 6which does not seem any closer to release, seven years after its announcement, Fallout fans can fear the worst. However, this was without counting on the truly radioactive success of the Prime Video serieswhich obviously helped put Bethesda’s priorities into perspective.
In any case, this is what Todd Howard, big boss of the American giant, announced in an interview with GameInformer. « Fallout is the franchise we still focus most of our efforts on. Currently, most of our internal team is working on The Elder Scrolls VI. But we are developing other projects for Fallout that we haven’t announced yet, and we’ll talk about them later ».
Todd Howard also discusses the controversial Fallout 76in any case at its cataclysmic launch in 2018: “ we never stopped developing Fallout beyond the constant updates of 76; a complete team has been working there for a long time “. But it is clear that a majority of fans want a new solo adventure in line with the main series. Before seeing the color, however, we should be entitled to Remasters of Fallout 3 et New Vegas in the same vein as The Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion Remastered and supposedly good in the boxes. The future will tell us.
