LEGO fans should be delighted, since a new leak provides details on these highly anticipated sets, already partially revealed during 2025.
The first building blocks of collaboration between LEGO Group et The Pokémon Company are starting to become clearer.
A new supposedly reliable leak reveals dix sets LEGO Pokémon expected for summer 2026with their supposed names, some gameplay details… and information that risks dividing fans.
A highly anticipated, but still mysterious, LEGO collaboration
Officially announced in March 2025, the LEGO Pokémon partnership should start in spring 2026, before expanding during the summer. For several months, set numbers had already been circulating, without real descriptions. This new leak takes a step forward by associating precise names with several referencesfinally offering a more concrete vision of the range. However, one common point immediately emerges. None of these sets would contain minifiguresconfirming a trend already mentioned in previous rumors.
According to information relayed by the Brick Tap community, here are the sets concerned and their supposed names. We would find Squirtle’s Buggy Training Adventure, Salamèche’s wild encounter with Racaillou, Pikachu’s training house, Osselait’s ghost challenge against Gengar, Voltali vs. Charizard, The evolution of Eevee, The dojo with Riolu, Mewtwo’s laboratory, The evolution of Flambinoas well as The stadium bus with Embrylex and Cradopaud. All these kits would be designed entirely made of brickssans figurines.
An absence that hurts
The absence of minifigs is starting to frustrate some LEGO fans. However, this choice seems logical. Pokémon come in extremely varied sizes, which are difficult to fit into the rigid scale of LEGO figurines. Creating specific molds for each creature would also represent a colossal industrial investment. Conversely, brick models allow LEGO to reinterpret Pokémon with more freedom, while retaining its iconic building language.
Does this mean that in the future, there will be no Pokemon sets with a figurine? Not necessarily. The rumors mainly suggest that the minifigures would be the exception and not the rule. Human characters like Ash could theoretically see the light of day, before opening the door to some iconic Pokémon in the form of special figurines. But for now, the 2026 range seems clearly geared towards interactive building modelsfocusing on experience rather than pure collection.
