Netflix is bringing back this event series that you love, it’s guaranteed to be a hit

Netflix is bringing back a much-loved series and is already promising something big for its next season which should surprise fans.

Netflix is preparing some very heavy stuff for 2026, including the big return of a series that has now become an anthology. After a very successful first season and which even managed to create the event without us seeing it coming, the platform is banking on a new season with new protagonists and a new story. On paper, why not.

Netflix will pull out all the stops for the return of this much-loved series

On April 6, 2023, Netflix subscribers were surprised to discover a Steven Yeun (The Walking Dead) and Ali Wong, talented actress and comedian, in great form in a new series: Relentless (or Beefits real title). Two characters who life does not spare meet and quarrel over a very stupid story behind the wheel. What could have been just a simple incident turns into a real war where anything goes. The series quickly found its audience, glued to Netflix and the rather incredible performance of the two artists. The end of season 1, however, suggested that the circle had come full circle, that the story was over. That’s certainly the case, but the series will still come back.

A new box guaranteed?

Like The White Lotus or, to a lesser extent, American Horror Story, Relentless becomes an anthology. Season 2 arrives on April 16, 2026 on Netflix with new characters and a new plot. This time, we will follow a young couple played by Cailee Spaeny (Alien Romulus, Civil War) et Charles Melton (Riverdale, Bad Boys Ride or Die). The two lovebirds will witness a violent argument between their boss and his wife, which will trigger “a real chess game between the two couples, made of favors and constraints in the elitist world of a country club and its Korean billionaire owner”, we can read on Netflix.

It will therefore once again be a question of low blows, manipulation and social confrontation. In addition to Melton and Spaeny, the cast will include well-known figures like Oscar Isaac (Star Wars) ou encore Carey Mulligan (Drive), who will respectively play the couple’s boss and his wife. No trailer at the moment, but it shouldn’t be too long since the series is expected in April 2026.
