A year after having made millions of players fall under its spell, Clair Obscur Expedition 33 returns with a new special edition that fans are already snapping up.
It was almost a year ago already. On April 24, 2025, the video game industry finally discovered Chiaroscuro Expedition 33after months of marketing which undoubtedly attracted the attention of players. And yet, even despite this, no one really expected the phenomenal success that Sandfall Interactive’s RPG was about to encounter. Elected GOTY 2025 at countless ceremonies, the title is now accumulating awards, and multiplying goodies and other surprises for the most collector fans.
A beautiful new edition for Clair Obscur Expedition 33
The latest one? That of a new physical version for the game, called “Mirror Edition”, which all Clair Obscur Expedition 33 players can now pre-order exclusively on Amazon. Because yes, the latter will only be released on the online store of the American giant, which intends to keep all the credits for this new edition which is already at the top of sales on the platform. But it must also be said that even beyond its price, set at only €59.99, the latter has some serious arguments to its advantage.
Indeed, in addition to a sublime cover illustration featuring Renoir alongside the “Winner 2025 – Game of the Year” button with the Game Awards logo, this Mirror Edition comes with a series of bonuses specially designed for fans. This then includes an exclusive Steelbook featuring Verso and Alicia, as well as three exclusive character artistic cards, among a total of ten available. Of course, the physical game is also included in the set, stored warm in its magnificent cardboard sleeve.
Note, however, that beyond being exclusive to the Amazon store, this new edition of Clair Obscur Expedition 33 will also remain exclusive to the PS5 community, the publisher having obviously decided to skip the Xbox version. And even if this is not too surprising given current trends, it is still a big disappointment for many fans of the game, which nevertheless benefited from its place in the Xbox Game Pass. But things being what they are, see you on June 5, 2026 for the release of the Mirror Edition on PS5, therefore.
