Steam has a new free game that will get you addicted

A true bastion of unique independent games, Steam has just welcomed a new cozy created by two dads, and available for free.

If services like PS Plus or the Xbox Game Pass are undoubtedly well suited to discovering new games at a lower cost, Steamfor his part, is certainly not left out. In addition to its generally ultra-competitive prices, Valve’s platform is full of daily offers allowing you to get your hands on certain titles without spending a single cent, whether temporarily or permanently. And sometimes this leads to unexpected discoveries, as in the case of Find Your Words.

Because this is also one of Steam’s strengths: that of highlighting games like no other, particularly for players looking for experiences that are both independent and cozy. Available since yesterday, Find Your Words places us in the shoes of a child sent to a colony by his parents, and with whom the objective is to forge links with his comrades. “Take your time, take a deep breath while playing on the beach, strolling in the woods and dancing with each other” explain to us Capybara Games, the creators of the game.

Exploration of the surrounding area, fun activities and mini-games are on the program for this unique adventure designed by two dads, who celebrate thanks to Find Your Words “the journey of their children learning to find their own voice”. “We want to highlight the different ways of communicating beyond words”reveal the latter in particular in the Steam description of the game, after having indicated that they are parents of non-oral children using AAC (alternative and augmented communication).

Enough to make Find Your Words a real message game, which can be discovered now for free. Unless you want to support Capybara Games, in which case a “Supporter Pack” version sold for €5.19 is also available on Steam. This will then give you access to the game’s original soundtrack, composed by Farah Coculuzzi, as well as a printable activity book for children. The only downside is that English is currently the only language available for Find Your Words.
