Like every weekend, the Xbox Game Pass Free Play Days allow you to test four games for free, including this time and rather exceptionally three without conditions.
After Steamit is once again the turn of Xbox Game Pass to detail its program of games to test for free this weekend until Sunday April 12 or Monday April 13 depending on the offer. However, we note that, of the four titles competing for this new edition of Free Play Days, only one requires a subscription to take advantage of the free trial. Let’s look at all this in more detail.
The free game of the weekend available exclusively to Xbox Game Pass subscribers
Let’s start with the biggest piece of this weekend selection with Xbox Game Pass for its Free Play Days, with the one that requires a subscription to take advantage of it. However, it is a title that is well worth the detour, since it is about the excellent Subnauticadeveloped and published by Unknown Worlds Entertainment and released in 2018. If you have never been able to try this now cult underwater survival game, here is a great opportunity to do so, even if the trial offer ends on April 12, 2026.
The three free games of the weekend that do not require a subscription
Then place the three other games competing for this edition of Free Play Days, but which do not require a subscription to Xbox Game Pass. We still have some great nuggets here, including the very good Graveyard Keeperdeveloped by Lazy Bear Games, published by Tiny Build and released in 2018, a sort of Stardew Valley with undead while managing a cemetery. This is exceptionally the only title available until April 13, 2026 instead of the 12th, with a rather timely free trial, while its sequel was entitled to an announcement through the Triple I Intiative presentation.
The two other games available for free this weekend without having to subscribe to Xbox Game Pass, but available until April 12, 2026, are on one side ONE PIECE: PIRATE WARRIORS 4developed by Koei Tecmo, published by Bandai Namco and released in 2023, which takes the form of a psychedelic beat them all à la Dynasy Warriors. On the other hand, we have Project Motor Racingdeveloped by Straight4 Studios, published by GIANTS Software and released in 2025, which presents itself as a car simulation à la Grand Tourism.
