On the occasion of Anno Day, the Ubisoft teams made a highly anticipated announcement of players who enjoyed Anno 117 Pax Romana, and we have a date this time.
A new era has begun at Ubisoft. After years of contrasting financial results and licenses that no longer shine as much as before, the former French flagship has joined forces with Tencent to create Vantage Studios, a new subsidiary bringing together the big names in its portfolio, such as Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry and Rainbow Six. The schedule has inevitably been shaken up internally and Ubisoft is now giving itself time to refine its games, to avoid repeating its past mistakes. And whileAssassin’s Creed HexeFar Cry 7, and a few other surprises kept secret are in preparation, the publisher will capitalize on its productions currently available on the market, including Year 117 Pax Romanawho has just made a great announcement.
A release date for the first DLC of Anno 117
A little less than a year after its release, the last episode of one of the tenors of the city-builder will offer its first paid DLC: Prophecies from the ashes. This first major expansion will obviously be accompanied by several new features. For example, players will be able to worship a new deity, meet a new merchant, Caecilia, explore Cinis, the largest island ever conceived in the saga, or even collect obsidian, a new resource.
« Prophecies from Ashes raises the stakes on the original experience, providing the community with new opportunities to delve deeper into strategy to meet the challenges of expanding their Roman Empire », explains Stéphane Jankowski, executive producer of Anno 117 Pax Romana. The Prophecies of the Ashes DLC will thus be available on April 23, 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series and PC at the price of €12, knowing that it is included in the Year 1 Pass (€35), which will include the game’s three upcoming expansions. On the occasion of Anno Day, Ubisoft also announced the launch of a sponsorship program which will take place from April 9 to May 12. The latter will allow you to receive 30 Reputation points for one sponsorship, 50 points for two and 90 points for three. With these rewards, Anno 117 Pax Romana players will be able to unlock cosmetics, music and much more.
