Only a few weeks after its last update, Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon is hosting a new patch bringing a series of fixes.
At FromSoftware, experiences are linked without necessarily being alike. After having shone with Elden Ring in 2022, then Shadow of the Erdtreeits DLC, in 2024, the Japanese studio is now preparing to make its comeback with ELDEN RING NIGHTREGa new unexpected experience combining action and survival. But before that, it appears that another title released in the meantime was also entitled to an unexpected update: Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon.
A new update for Armored Core 6
Released at the end of the summer of 2023, Armored Core 6 may not have had such a resounding success as Elden Ring lately, but he certainly knew how to find his audience anyway. This explains why the title continues to host new updates from FromSoftware. And if it should not necessarily expect much extraordinary, it is all the same accompanied by multiple fixes that the fans of Armored Core 6 should welcome with pleasure.
Among other things, in particular, the studio announces a slew of adjustments for many weapons, whose power and speed have been improved or reduced depending on the case. The same goes for certain pieces of the mechas which, as you know, are at the heart of the Armored Core 6 experience. For the rest, FromSoftware then announces the following fixes:
Player AC corrections
- Fixed a bug which hampered the expansion functionality of the nucleus if a weapon purge was carried out immediately after activating the expansion of the nucleus.
- Fixed a bug that prevented an attack from being treated as a direct blow if the attack was launched at the time of activation of the pulsation armor against a shocking enemy.
Online parties corrections
- Fixed a bug that prevented an opponent’s AC from appearing properly in the classified matches of Armored Core 6.
Others
- Fixed a bug with the “alula/21st” booster which caused an incorrect display of the consumption value of ascendant under the specifications of the parts.
Required connection
The patch, which brings Armored Core 6 into its version 1.09.1, is therefore now available on all platforms. Be careful however, the studio specifies that it is necessary to launch the game in online mode to be able to install it. “The last patch will not be downloaded if the game is configured to start in offline mode.
