Assassin’s Creed Shadows becomes more beautiful with its new update, here’s what it changes


Assassin’s Creed Shadows is getting a new update which brings three major new features and a whole host of fixes. Here’s everything you need to remember.

On March 20, Assassin’s Creed Shadows was already blowing out its first candle. For the occasion, Ubisoft celebrated this symbolic first anniversary with several gifts, but the publisher still had a few surprises up its sleeve. If the French giant has revised its plans regarding the episode in Japan, to the point of canceling its second scripted DLC, the follow-up continues a little further with a new, highly anticipated update for PS5 Pro players, now available on all platforms.

A new update for Assassin’s Creed Shadows

AC Shadows thus went to version 1.1.10 on April 6, 2026. An update which therefore above all marks the arrival of the PSRR 2a feature reserved for PS5 Pro players. “ This improved version of PSSR greatly improves Assassin’s Creed Shadows with sharper pixel quality and exceptional image stability », Promises the publisher. The Nintendo Switch 2 is not to be outdone and also receives its little novelty with the addition of keyboard/mouse support, when all players will now be able to fight with a non-legendary Bô, without needing to own the Hunts on Awaji expansion.

And as always, the latest update for Assassin’s Creed Shadows is accompanied by a salvo of fixes of all kinds. bugs that blocked progression, interface issues and a handful of adjustments for weapons and their advantages that were not displayed correctly… Ubisoft may have finished with the big new features, but the follow-up continues.   • Addition to PSSR 2 support on PS5 Pro
  • A non-legendary Bo staff is available to all players. It will appear on enemies, in certain chests and at certain merchants.
  • Added keyboard/mouse support to Nintendo Switch 2.

Gameplay

  • Fixed an issue preventing access to fast travel points.
  • Enemies can now be affected by up to 5 conditions simultaneously.
  • Fixed an issue where additional rations obtained from “Assassin’s Creed Shadows Hunt for Awaji” were not being displayed in the “Maximum Rations” section of the stat sheet.
  • Fixed an issue preventing damage bonuses from being applied when fighting unarmed.
  • Fixed an issue limiting bonuses to various stats to +100%.

UI

  • Fixed a crash when checking DLCs.
  • Fixed an issue where total progress would get stuck at 97.89% after completing all Assassin’s Creed Shadows content.
  • The detailed stat sheet now displays the damage of “Combo Ender”.
  • The detailed stat sheet has been adjusted to more clearly display capped and uncapped stats.
  • Fixed an issue occurring after the update where a “Missing Content” error resulted in the loss of all gear obtained in the Hunts on Awaji expansion.
