After winning a record number of awards, Clair Obscur Expedition 33 is once again beaten when it comes to an award given to another game loved by gamers.
Chiaroscuro Expedition 33 will certainly not have stolen its status as a video game phenomenon (or even beyond) from a year 2025 yet rich in excellent games. In any case, he will have dominated two major ceremonies which are the Golden Joystick and the Game Awards. More recently, however, other titles have shone by winning interesting prizes, such as Hades 2crowned Game of the Year Metacritic thanks to an impressive Metascore of 95 for its version Nintendo Switch 2. Another prize, this time from the players, also escaped the French masterpiece from Sandfall Interactive.

This is particularly the case of Steam Awards 2025who recently announced the winners of the 11 competing categories, dictated entirely by the votes of users of the Valve platform.
We can thus notice that, in this case, Clair Obscur Expedition 33 only leaves with one pricebut very well deserved: that of the “ Best Soundtrack », thanks to the masterful composition of Lorien Testard and Alice Duport-Percier. Sandfall Interactive’s game therefore has no not won the GOTY 2025 among Steam players. This honor ultimately goes to Hollow Knight Silksongthe long-awaited latest title from Team Cherry, which also won the “ Best Game You’re Bad At “. Hades 2, for its part, leaves with the well-deserved award for “Best Game on Steam Deck”.
