The official Cyberpunk board game Edgerunner Hunted will be officially translated into French and its pre-orders are now open. Success is still likely to be there.
With its colorful casting, its poignant and uncompromising story, its remarkable animation and its artistic direction to die for, Cyberpunk Edgerunners has not only contributed to the return to favor of the game. The Netflix series has established itself as a work in its own right, which has also left its mark. And as for Cyberpunk 2077this resounding success quickly called for a sequel, currently in production, as well as various derivative products, including a game centered around Cyberpunk Edgerunnerswhich will be officially translated into French.
Cyberpunk Edgerunners Haunted, the official board game
To say that Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most popular licenses in recent years would be an understatement. The last two crowdfunding campaigns prove it. The board game exploded on Kickstarter with more than $15 million raised. A record in its category, already beaten by the collectible card game Cyberpunk 2077, which has already exceeded this figure, although its campaign is not over. And when you have gold in your hands, it’s hard to resist the urge to ride on this success. Cyberpunk Edgerunners will also go through the board game box.
Called Hunted, this adaptation will offer fans the opportunity to embody the heroes of the series after quick games (around 25 minutes), playable solo or up to four players in cooperation. Here, the Edgerunners will try to escape the Maelstrom gang, the Newport Beach Police (NCPD) and obviously Adam Smasher. The Cyberpunk Edgerunners board game aims to test players’ survival skills and sense of strategy. This is particularly thanks to gameplay that is “easy to learn, difficult to master and with high replayability”, promises No Loading Games, publishing Cyberpunk Edgerunners – Hunted, on its website.
Pre-orders open
Pre-orders for the game are now open, including for the French version. Count on €47.99 (shipping included) for the classic box, with a pack of additional figurines sold separately for €24.99. Another box is also offered for any purchase of the game, provided you add it to your basket, taking care to select the same language as the game (don’t be scared when you see the price displayed at more than €2000, it is indeed free once in the basket). Deliveries are scheduled for sometime in September 2026.
