Disney Dreamlight Valley launched the month of October 2025 with a bang with the release of the major free update “Return to the Castle of the Beast”. This update added new quests, new cosmetic items, and fixes for various ongoing issues. Gameloft’s flagship title will have even more new features to announce very soon with a particularly interesting date.

Disney Dreamlight Valley has been a huge success with lovers of cozy experiences since its release in 2022, and the game has enjoyed an impressive longevity thanks to regular updates. Gameloft has in fact continued to offer substantial free updates, alongside paid extensions, to ensure an experience that is always as fresh as possible. Fans of the title have a lot to look forward to in the coming days.
Disney Dreamlight Valley indeed gives us the October 15, 2025 especially for the full reveal of the next expansion and the start of an annual event. We already know that the next major expansion will be called Wishblossom Ranch. This DLC will offer players new friends, new biomes to explore and horses to ride. Snow White, Tinker Bell and Maximus will be among the main characters of this new DLC, which will therefore be presented in the smallest details, with the added bonus of a release date of October 15.
The official reveal of Disney’s upcoming Dreamlight Valley DLC isn’t the only big announcement coming next week, however. On October 15, 2025, the annual Halloween event will also make a comeback. If this event is anything like previous ones, players can expect candy buckets to appear in the Plaza every day from October 15 to 31, 2025, allowing them to complete tasks and earn rewards. There 2025 version of Halloween event would include ‘new surprises’so it will be interesting to see what exactly the game has in store at this level. We should know for certain in the coming days.
