Disney Dreamlight Valley is also moving into winter with its seasonal event: the 2026 Winter Festival. The prize is great free rewards.
What a long way to go Disney Dreamlight Valley four years after its launch in early access. Change of economic model, life-saving updates which have considerably improved the experience, DLC policy revised following feedback from the community, always more emblematic characters and features in spades… The Stardew Valley way Disney has evolved. However, what does not change are the one-off events which allow all players to collect free content by participating during a given period. In January 2026, free content will be available every week in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
A festive winter in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Like every year, the Winter Flying Festival has arrived in the valley. From January 7 to 28, 2026, players will be able to fly to a flying island, only accessible during the event, to obtain exclusive seasonal free content. But to get your hands on it, you will first have to unravel the mysteries of this place by solving puzzles that will appear every week. We reassure you, this is more of a formality than a real investigation. However, you will have to be regular, since a new puzzle, and therefore a new gift, will be deployed every week in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Here is the schedule for the 2026 Winter Flying Festival:
January 7: first three puzzles
Riddle 1: Frosty Rabbit
From January 7, 2026, head to the Winter Chocolate Fountain and the Winter Combination Pillars to solve the first riddle and receive an elegant Taupe winter hat.
An adorable frosty bunny hops happily around the Festival grounds, often stopping to sniff the air. Would he be hungry? Maybe you can give him a comforting treat! He seems to have quite the sweet tooth… See if you can find a clue as to what he wants — you might just find out what winter treats he wants!
Riddle 2: Winter chocolate fountain
By solving this second puzzle of the Disney Dreamlight Valley festival, you will obtain a Winter Chocolate Fountain just for you.
As you walk through the snowy fields, you see a graceful fountain in the distance. Attracted by her, you approach to discover that her jets have stopped. Maybe you can fix it! Look around you carefully…a nearby clue could hold the key to bringing it back to life. Fill the fountain with comforting treats to restore its flow!
Puzzle 3: Winter Combination Pillars
You will obtain a refined Snowman by solving this third puzzle of Disney Dreamlight Valley.
As you explore this island, which is home to many wonders (and a few happy snowmen!), you may come across wooden pillars engraved with mysterious numbers. The dice underneath seem to react to your touch… Scour the island for clues and discover the right combination of numbers and symbols to unravel the mystery of the pillars!
January 14: Riddle of the street lamps
Starting January 14 at midnight local time, all street lights will turn off. It’s up to you to repair them to receive printed winter leggings.
Exploring is fun, but in the cold and dark… not so much! The street lights that once lit these festive paths have gone out and it’s up to you to repair them. Find the right items and restore their colorful shine! Maybe the maintenance team left some notes to guide you…
January 21: Frozen Fortress Puzzle
Starting January 21, the final puzzle of the Disney Dreamlight Valley Winter Festival will be unlocked. It will allow you to win a Taupe Winter Coat.
Resting is wonderful, especially in a cozy Frozen Fortress! As you enter and feel the warmth envelop you, your eyes fall on a cuddly snowman. But when you lean over to give him a comforting hug… he starts talking! This Microlaf Plush challenges you with a fun quiz. Answer their questions correctly to win a stylish prize!
To access the 2026 Disney Dreamlight Valley Winter Flying Festival, you will need to go to the special island from the portal located on the Esplanade. To go faster, you can also select the “Teleport” icon. Here is the procedure to follow to participate in the event:
- Launch Disney Dreamlight Valley;
- Go to the Esplanade and take the portal;
- Alternative: to go faster, go to the menu, then “Event” and select “Teleport”;
- Solve the puzzle(s), knowing that some require specific items;
- Collect your reward(s) from the menu.
