A few days before the return of FF7 Remake on new platforms, the director of the remake trilogy gives us news of the third and final opus to come.
On January 22, Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade will officially arrive on Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch 2, allowing millions of additional players to discover the adventures of Cloud and his entire gang. And while we already know that Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will be entitled to the same treatment in the future, what the players are mainly waiting for in the immediate future is obviously news from FF7 Remake 3currently in development. And that’s good, because the creator of the game has a few words to say.
Good news, the development of FF7 Remake 3 is progressing well
Indeed, as part of a vast promotional campaign dedicated to the arrival of FF7 Remake Intergrade on new platforms, Naoki Hamaguchi did not hesitate to take part in the question-and-answer game with numerous media from around the world. The opportunity then for him to go behind the scenes of the production of the games, but also on his vision for the future of the franchise, his dream projects and finally, obviously, FF7 Remake 3. A game which, the creator assures him, is progressing as planned so far.
“As we progress through the development of the remake series and near the end, even in interviews where we talk about the creative process of FF7 Remake and FF7 Rebirth, we feel that fans around the world have really enjoyed the title” he notably confided to the microphone of GamerBraves. Of course, Hamaguchi was careful not to reveal more about FF7 Remake 3 which, for the moment, still remains very mysterious. So much that we don’t know up to the name.
However, given the latest news shared by the latter, it should now only be a matter of time before we can finally discover the first images and official information. Until then, remember that Hamaguchi said that FF7 Remake 3 should bring a conclusion “loved by all players” to the trilogy, in addition to offering a new approach gameplay compared to its predecessors. And its exit might not be the end, un DLC already being studied by Square Exix.
