Is injustice 3 currently in Warner Bros pipes? This is what a renowned leaker seems to indicate through strange messages teasing the potential return of the fighting game.
Last week, Netherrealm Studios came out Mortal Kombat 1: Definitive Edition which, as its name suggests, brings together all the content released post-launch to date. In doing so, the studio seems to confirm what many fans feared, namely that the follow -up of the game finally came to an end to a little earlier than expected following disappointing results Saved by the Khaos Reigns extension. This could however be an evil for a good, because the noise runs that the studio would now be at work … on Injustice 3 !
Injustice 3 currently in development?
In any case, this is what we can deduce from the strange messages posted by MultiVersusia, a very famous leaker. The latter, which has made a name for itself by accurately revealing a lot of information on MultiVersus Before its closure, has indeed split the next tweet during the weekend: “The closure of MultiVersus is an injustice, then starting everything again is another injustice. Leaving myself without any leak is once again yet another injustice ”. We then note, obviously, the recurrence of the word “injustice” in the message.
But even more interesting, this tweet is accompanied by a second message, which is much more concise since it contains a simple figure: « 3 ». If we summarize, we are therefore dealing with a first tweet containing three times the word “injustice”, followed by a tweet putting the emphasis itself on the figure 3. Suffice to say, when we know the past of multi-lives, that it is therefore unlikely that this is a matter of simple coincidence, and that it is rather in a diverted way of indicating that Ininjustice 3 would be in preparation.
A complicated situation for Warner Bros
Of course, all this obviously remains to be taken with tweezers at the moment. Currently, Netherrealm Studios has still not formalized the cessation of monitoring of Mortal Kombat 1, any more than it mentioned the existence of any injustice 3. However, in view of the success encountered by the first two opus in 2013 and 2017, this could perhaps do good in Warner Bros, which is in an extremely delicate situation since the commercial failure encountered by Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.
