Nintendo Switch 2: Another big game confirmed at launch

Expected on June 5, 2025 by many players, the Nintendo Switch 2 still adds a very good game to its already substantial launch line.

To motivate crowds to buy a new console, the most important is of course to have a list of games that makes you want. There Nintendo Switch 2 will be no exception when it was released on June 5 to come, which will be done with a Twenty titles present at its launch. Among them, we count of course Mario Kart Worldbut also large third -party games such as Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition. Another big third game, from Sega, the former Nintendo rival, will also be there.

The shadow of a blue hedgehog will accompany the launch of the Nintendo Switch 2

To support its launch, the Nintendo Switch 2 will ultimately have few titles truly exclusive to it. In addition to Mario Kart World, it will be mainly “improved” versions of big titles from her illustrious big sister who will delight fans, as Breath of the Wild, Tears of the Kingdom or Super Mario Party Jamboree. The console will therefore also count a lot on third-party games to inflate its launch line-up.

As such, SEGA notably confirmed that Sonic x Shadow Generationsreleased on October 25, 2024, will be one of the games present as soon as the Nintendo Switch on June 5 arrives. As a reminder, it is a remaster of the very good Sonic Generations, with the name, as its name suggests, a whole arc dedicated to its eternal rival, Shadow. A therefore very complete version of an already very appreciated game, which mixes with mastery in the old -fashioned 2D levels and more recent 3D levels, even if it has not always convinced the fans of the blue hedgehog.

The Nintendo Switch 2 is therefore adorned with a rather substantial launch line-up, while waiting for other big titles to come later, as the promising Donkey Kong Bananzaor two other games published by Sega such as Puyo Puyo Tetris 25 and Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut. These twenty titles present when it will be released suffice to convince the crowds to offer the new Big N console, tariffed at 470 euros? Go from June 5 to find out.
