Could the extension of Silent Hill 2, Born From A Wish, also go through the remake box soon? A new element discovered sows doubt.
It’s been several months now that the remake of Silent Hill 2 came out, taking more or less everyone short. Indeed, while a great distrust surrounded the project developed by Bloober Team, it was ultimately a rain of praise and apology from the public that the Polish studio was entitled for its work. And if the game seems to be behind us today, some fans continue to feed the hope of seeing the DLC which accompanied the original game to be remaked in turn. And precisely, a new element comes back a little oil on the fire on this subject.
A DLC approaching for Silent Hill 2?
As some Internet users have been able to notice on Steamdb, it appears that an update was operated two weeks ago in the game files. However, no patch was recently deployed by the studio for Silent Hill 2.. It was therefore not necessary to make some people dream of an ad around Born From A Wish, the DLC featuring the character of Maria. Especially knowing that the game sheet contains the mention “Including the DLCs”.
However, we prefer to warn you right away: that confirms absolutely nothing. Not only is the latter present on many games, which therefore seems to be a general mention, but in addition Bloober Team has never confirmed anything around this famous DLC. It could simply be a use update, intended to make some fixes to improve the experience of players. Even if, of course, we can only dream of seeing Born from a wish become reality, especially when approaching summer conferences and their ads.

But let’s still remember that Bloober Team has already started communication around his next game, Cronos: The New Dawnwhose release is expected for this year. It is therefore not impossible that the studio has already moved on. Fortunately, we may be able to count on the presence of Silent Hill fthe next opus to come, to console us.
