While Silent Hill f has only just been released, new sources indicate that Konami could already be ready to release the next game in the franchise in the near future.
Available for two weeks now, Silent Hill f undoubtedly delights fans of the franchise. Indeed, the title from NeoBards Entertainment may tend to divide for its combat system or its more action nature, but it nevertheless remains a very popular new entry in the Konami series. In fact, many people are now naturally wondering what the publisher has in store for us next. And according to some leaks, we might not have to wait long to find out.
The next Silent Hill might be closer than we think
If you have followed the news around Silent Hill at all in recent years, you are probably aware that there is still a game announced by Konami to discover today. And no, we are obviously not talking about remake you premier opus which has just entered production at Bloober Team, but Silent Hill Townfallthe mysterious project from Screen Burn (formerly No Code). Because the latter may have been announced in October 2022, the fact is that we still have no information about it.
However, this could change very soon since if we are to believe the latest information shared by Biohazard Ultimatethe title should be at the heart of a new Silent Hill Transmission this month. For Konami, this would then be the opportunity to announce its release date, apparently set for March 26, 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series and PC, but also to present the concept of the game. A concept which, visibly, would be very similar to that of the demo The Short Messagereleased in January 2024, and by extension to that of PT
Indeed, still according to Biohazard Ultimate, Silent Hill Townfall should feature “several short stories which [mettront] the focus on ghosts from a city’s past, and more particularly [sur] spirits who torment a small beach not far from the town where the story takes place ». On the gameplay side, we shouldn’t expect anything similar to Silent Hill 2 or Silent Hill f, since the title would not offer any weapons or objects, but only exploration and chase sequences based on jumpscares.
The future remake of Bloober Team also in the spotlight?
Of course, needless to say, all this should be taken with a grain of salt for the moment. Because Biohazard Ultimate may claim to have this information from internal sources, we have no way of verifying its veracity. Be careful, therefore. That being said, if the leaker is telling the truth, this new edition of Silent Hill Transmission would also be an opportunity for Konami to unveil a first teaser for the next Silent Hill remake, which would certainly please fans. It remains to be seen whether time will give credence to this information.
