Notice to Steam players, you have a few hours left to enjoy several free games and they are excellent. You’ll find survival, a little horror, lots of multiplayer and lots of fun.
Last week, Steam offered no less than five free games over a long weekend. The good news is that the offer is still available. You still have a few hours ahead of you to enjoy these games for free before they become chargeable again. During this period, you can play them as if you owned them and even keep your progress in case you check out.
If you want to try them, now is the time to take advantage of them.
Grounded 2 is still free on Steam
It starts with Grounded 2Obsidian’s survival game currently in early access and available in the highest packages of Xbox Game Pass. Shrunken and lost in a huge garden, you will have to find a way to survive by facing hostile wildlife, now gigantic insects, while trying to discover how to return to your normal size. After a very well-received first episode, Grounded 2 raises the bar even higher with more secrets to discover and crafting possibilities. The game is therefore free on Steam until February 2, 2026 at around 7:00 p.m.
Dead by Daylight, the asymmetrical multiplayer that is still a hit
Change of atmosphere now with Dead by Daylightone of the pioneers of asymmetric multi. In this multiplayer horror game, survivors face off against the greatest killers from all universes in games where cooperation is essential. Four players will therefore have to try to escape a map by completing objectives while another will play the assassin among a ton of characters from the universe of Dead by Daylight or cult licenses. Lately, Stranger Things is in the spotlight in a thematic chapter that features survivors, a killer with unique gameplay, a new map and much more. Deep Rock Galactic, de la coop fun sur Steam
Multiplayer still, but this time, we’re going to dig holes. Deep Rock Galactic is also free on Steam until February 2, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. and allows you to play as a commando of space dwarves specializing in drilling planets. Pack your stuff using a wide range of weapons and tools, and explore gigantic galleries to extract as many resources as possible. A great game to play with friends.
Hotel Architect, fun management on Steam
Calmer this time, this free game on Steam will appeal to your creative fiber. Hotel Architect offers you to create, build and manage crazy hotels, but also to take care of your staff and customers, that goes without saying. The game offers a wide range of creative possibilities and is all about fun. It is reminiscent of the crazy Two Point series, in fact. The game is free on Steam until February 2 at 7:00 p.m. if you want to try it out for yourself.
Sker Ritual, for zombie game fans
The latest free game currently available on Steam is called Happening Ritual and pays homage to good old-fashioned zombie games. Spin-off of Maid of Sker, this new horror action game playable alone or in cooperation with up to 4 players allows you to survive hordes of creatures straight from hell. You will be able to benefit from a large number of diverse and varied weapons, but also from unique skills and bonuses to be unlocked in part, the Miracles. Get your friends together and go clean up these monster-infested places while the game is free. You have until February 2, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. to test it for yourself on Steam.
