If Naughty Dog does not close the door to the idea of designing The Last of Us Part 3 one day, the fans will still have to wait until the right moment presents itself for the studio.
Since the release of The Last of Us Part 2naughty dog fans are extremely numerous to wonder if we will be entitled to a suite one day. And for good reason, like the first opus in 2013, the end of the game could easily serve as a conclusion to the franchise. Not to mention that there are still two months, Neil Druckmann declared during an interview that we should not necessarily bet on the arrival of a The Last of Us 3. But that does not mean that the creator definitively closes the door to this idea.

Decidedly full of contradictions, the creator of Elephant was indeed expressed again about The Last of Us 3 during an interview for Sacred Symbols. The opportunity then for him to reconfirmed that he would be definitively ready to sign for a third opus but on one condition: that history is worth it. “I thought what I said in the documentary [de The Last of Us Part 2] » Assure Druckmann. “If I am the guardian of this franchise, or regardless of the role that Sony entrusted to me, it is important to me that everything is of high quality”. When we made the series, we have associated ourselves, I find, with the best directors of HBO, and we make it the best version. So if we had to come back, I want to make sure that the story is worthy of The Last of Us ”.
