A few weeks after its last big update, the Nintendo Switch 2 is already entering version 22.1.0 with a new patch. Here’s what he brings.
Three weeks ago now, the Nintendo Switch 2 received a huge update adding a number of new features for players. From the introduction of Handheld Mode Boost to improvements to GameChat, new language and accessibility settings, Nintendo’s machine continues to refine its user experience as time goes on. And it’s obviously far from over, since a new update has just been deployed by the manufacturer.
A new update is coming to Nintendo Switch 2
During the day yesterday, Nintendo launched version 22.1.0 of the Nintendo Switch 2 software, which, however, this time is much more basic than its predecessor. Here, no new features or other notable additions, but simply “general system stability improvements aimed at optimizing user experience”. Which ones exactly? We ignore it. But these are probably relatively minor, too many to be distinctly cited in Nintendo’s patch notes.
Regardless, this remains very good news for owners of the Nintendo Switch 2, who will therefore be able to continue to enjoy their console in the best possible conditions. Especially since they are not the only ones. Like the last update, Nintendo Switch players are also affected by this version 22.1.0 of the system software, deployed at the same time on the machine. Even if, again, nothing more has been reported than the famous “general system stability improvements”.
As usual, to install this update, nothing could be simpler: you just need to launch your Nintendo Switch 2 which, thanks to its internet connection, should automatically proceed with the download. Otherwise, go to your console settings, “System” tab, then select the “Update system software” option. Note that the process is identical on Nintendo Switch. Then all you have to do is wait for the installation to finish to enjoy it peacefully.
