This time there are a little less numerous than usual with only two titles, but one of them is excellent.
Two free games for a weekend on the Xbox Game Pass
The first free game of the Xbox Game Pass for the weekend is Pac-Man Mega Tunnel Battle: Chomp Champs. This new title revisits the famous Pac-Man in Battle Royale sauce. In Mega Tunnel Battle: Chomp Champs, up to 64 players compete online in a gigantic labyrinth made up of interconnected areas. The goal is simple: survive longer than others while accumulating points. We find the classic elements of the license, the Pac-Gomme, the Ghosts, the Bonus Fruits but also a novelty of size: the possibility of invading the labyrinths of other players to eliminate them. The action is fast, intense, and the strategy is essential to avoid being crunched. A perfect game for lovers of arcade competition and fast sessions with friends.
In contrast to the frantic tone of Pac-Man, Still Wakes the Deep offers a first -person narrative adventure, focused on psychological horror and exploration. This game on the Xbox Game Pass plunges us into the 1970s, on an isolated oil platform in the North Sea. You embody a worker confronted with a supernatural phenomenon which seriously disrupts the structure, the environment and the mental state of the crew members. The atmosphere is heavy, the sound design neat, and the approach very immersive. Developed by The Chinese Room, known for contemplative and narrative games like Dear Esther et Everybody’s Gone to the Rapturethis title bet on progressive tension and anxiety more than on raw action. A game that will appeal to lovers of mysterious stories and atmospheric experiences.

To access these two games for free, just have an active subscription to the Xbox Game Pass Core, Standard or Ultimate. The titles are available for download via the Free Play Days section of the Microsoft Store or directly from your Xbox console. As usual, any progress made will be kept if you decide to buy the game afterwards.
