While each new day that passes we bring us a little closer to the release of GTA 6, Rockstar Games is slowly but surely starting to put the double bites to prepare the marketing of the game.
If everything had happened as planned, we should normally be only a few weeks old from the exit from GTA 6 At a time when these lines are written. But the reality being what it is, the extremely awaited suite of GTA 5 was finally postponed to May 26, 2026, thus lengthening the expectations of fans several months. And while some are already starting to fear the possibility of another postponementnew elements seem to reiterate the confidence of Rockstar Games vis-à-vis its new release date.
Heavy is preparing for GTA 6
Indeed, as revealed by a new series of job offers published on the studio site, it appears that Rockstar London is currently looking to enrich its ranks of a team of QA testers specializing in location for marketing. Their role: Provide a high quality location for all Rockstar products and services, help the team locate GTA 6 during development, help the external location teams and finally test all the products and services in order to ensure that they have the expected final quality.
And the interesting point is that there is a question for the different positions (which cover no less than eleven different languages, including French) of a CDD of 12 months. In other words, this seems to support Rockstar’s confidence again as for an exit from GTA 6 for May 26, 2026, with a marketing campaign which will extend at least until the second half of the year. A campaign which, by the way, seems already intended to put the small dishes in the big ones, to the delight of the players.
Because if since its announcement, GTA 6 has not really been the subject of an extremely sustained communication, it is obvious that the closer we get closer to the release of the game, the more Rockstar will put the double bites on the marketing side. And it is in this sense that these new job offers are particularly revealing: they announce a more than massive promotional campaign for GTA 6, and this in many territories like France. But it takes this for what is already coming from the most resounding cultural product in history, right?
