It has been several months since the Disney Dreamlight Valley players were waiting for the rest. This new update marks the conclusion of the story launched with the extension The Storybook Vale. And the least we can say is that the content is up to par.
This time, direction the unwritten kingdom in Disney Dreamlight Valley. A strange and poetic place, made of forgotten pages, where the stories are going to disappear … or be reborn. This is where you will come across Maleficent, darker than ever, but also Aurore, in a completely unprecedented dreamy version. The two characters are entitled to their own quest line, with objects, outfits and rewards. All in a magical atmosphere, faithful to the great Disney classics.
New tools, new challenges
Another major addition of this Disney Dreamlight Valley update: the royal net. This tool allows you to catch snippets, small elusive creatures that represent fragments of stories. By collecting them, you can complete the Lorekeeper Tales, interactive tapestries telling the Disney and Pixar stories.
It is an original way to mix narration, collection and gameplay. And this gives real depth to the exploration of the valley. But everything is not rosy in the Disney Dreamlight Valley valley. Maleficent and Hades seem to have still plans in mind. It will be necessary to ally with new characters to block them and save once and for all the world of the game. This final promises great spectacle, with a touch of emotion, as Disney can do so well.
Good news: even without the DLC, this update brings its share of corrections. Several annoying bugs have been corrected, especially around the mysteries extension of Skull Rock released in June. No more characters floating in the air or quests that block. The photo mode has also been improved, as is the touchscreen interface, which becomes more fluid and intuitive. In short, the game gains in comfort, whatever your level of progression.

Finally, two new packs land in the Disney Dreamlight Valley store. Inspired by Aurore and Maleficent, they offer exclusive outfits and objects. They are available for all players, provided they spend a few moonstones. A good way to enjoy the world of extension, even without having bought it.
