Prime Video: releases of the week with two big films

Prime Video is stocking up on new features with two big films, without forgetting its event series which is already available. You must not miss it.

It’s the big week of Christmas and streaming platforms continue to stock up on new releases. As Netflix or even Disney+, Prime Video will add new programs to its catalog. We can therefore count on no less than two films this week, but unfortunately there will be no series. Don’t panic, its biggest series of the year has recently been available, so you can take the opportunity to watch it.

All Prime Video films for the week of December 22 to 28, 2025

In the coming days, Prime Video will give pride of place to American history with Horizon: Chapter 1. A film that takes place during the colonization of the American West, while a family of settlers and an entire village are massacred by Apache warriors. Fifteen years later, we will again follow settlers who came to settle by force, pushed by American propaganda coming from the East. A striking film directed by Kevin Costner, decidedly in love with this bloody period in American history. The other film coming this week on Prime Video is lighter, although inspired by real events. It follows the improbable story of Jeffrey Manchester, the McDonald’s thief who lived in a Toys”R”Us store for nearly six months. He films with Channing Tatum in the role of the thief, but also Kirsten Dunst (Civil War, Spider-Man).

An event series that we highly recommend

As we told you, there is no new series this week on Prime Video, but that will give you time to devour one of the latest freshly released ones. We are obviously talking about season 2 of Fallout with Ella Purnell. The event series has been back on Prime Video since December 17 and, for the moment, it seems to have everyone in agreement. We will find our dear Lucy, survivor of Vault 33, who went looking for her father with the Ghoul. A new season in line with the first, namely funny, bloody and ultra faithful to the video game saga from which it is taken.
