After Baldur’s Gate 3, a new promising official game announced

After Baldur’s Gate 3, here is a new game in the universe of Donjons & Dragons is revealed, with premices on particularly promising paper.

Thanks to Baldur’s Gate 3the emblematic role -playing game returned with panache to the front of the video game scene, after long years marked by various more or less convincing attempts. Wizards of the Coast, the company holding the rights of the license, does not intend to stop in such a good way and already has many titles in the boxes, in development at various partner studios. Via an official press release, he announced a new one that could also be worth the detour.

A promising video game of Donjons & Dragons after Baldur’s Gate 3?

Among the many video game projects of Wizards of the Coast around Donjons & Dragons, we naturally have the “sequel” of Baldur’s Gate 3. This will however be done without the talented Larian Studios teams, who are again a rider alone for their two future games. The publisher must therefore find another studio to use this torch very heavy in meaning after the absolute Goty 2023.

However, it is not the only game in the universe of Dungeons & Dragons which must succeed Baldur’s Gate 3. According to a Leak in February, we could in particular be entitled to an enhanced Edition of the Excellent Neverwinter Nights 2. We can also quote the promising Solasta 2by the French studio Tactical Adventures. However, Wizards of the Coast announced, however, still announced another game in the universe, developed in partnership with Giant Skull.

The press release, quoted in source below, in any case aroused our curiosity by presenting this new project as a ” Solo action-adventure game in the universe of dungeons & Dragons ». Even more interesting, the Giant Skull studio is led by Stig Asmussen, notably known for its role as director on God of War 3 and the franchise Star Wars Jedi. A person on paper could not be more competent, in short. However, this new game is not likely to go out for a long time for a long time. Patience is therefore in order to see if he can represent for the action-adventure genre what Baldur’s Gate 3 was for the genus C-RPG in the universe of Dungeons & Dragons.
