Sad news for the world of video games, which has just lost one of its emblematic figures with Vince Zampella, who tragically died at the age of 55.

Aged only 55, the designer died this Sunday afternoon in a car accident in Los Angeles.

As reported by the media TMZ, Zampella, who is notably known for having co-founded Infinity Ward and Respawn Entertainment during his career, unfortunately found himself at the heart of a fatal accident which cost the lives of two people. If the conditions of the event are still mysterious, it appears that the creator was at the wheel of the vehicle when it veered off the road and hit a barrier before bursting into flames. However, the identity of the passenger who was next to him is unknown.
But more than the tragic conditions of the accident, it is obviously the loss of Zampella which is causing turmoil throughout the industry today.
