Pending a real presentation of its gameplay and its release, we already know that Ghost of Yotei will bring back a highly appreciated feature of the first game.
While Ghost of Yotei arrives on October 2, 2025 exclusively on PS5, the last State of Play only offered a brief appearance of the long -awaited suite of Ghost of Tsushima. This allowed us to learn that the next title of Sucker Punch will finally be entitled to a long presentation of his gameplay in July. Until then, ESRB has given it a classification, which allows us to discover that a functionality of the previous opus will return, in a way adapted to the circumstances.
Back to basics for Ghost of Yotei
As a reminder, Ghost of Yotei will take the form of an “anthological” suite compared to Tsushima. Sucker Punch will indeed make us return to his vision of feudal Japan, but in another era, and with another character. So here for the young Atsu woman in place of Jin Sakai, 300 years after the events of the first opus, and in the Hokkaido region. Despite everything, we will naturally find in this suite some elements of his great brother. In terms of gameplay, for example, we should well find an alternation between stored battles and infiltration.
Like Jin, ATSU will however not lack opportunities to relax in its quest for revenge. In this regard, Ghost of Yotei was the subject of a classification with the American organization ESRB. Naturally, the latter assigns to him the letter M for “mature”, due to the presence of “ blood, references to drugs, violence, language, partial nudity and alcohol use ». We thus learn via the description of the organization that Ghost of Yotei will make the Sequences in hot sources De Tsushima.
In addition to the elements specific to the franchise as bloody duels and assassinations, the ESRB also describes the following element to wait in the next Punch Sucker game: ” Kinematic scenes represent the posterior exposed of a female character in a hot source ». ATSU should therefore also indulge in a little meditation while sweating a good blow to evacuate the evil spirits.
