In the middle of the holiday season, PlayStation and Apple are teaming up to give PS5 players a little gift and offering them free access to the Apple Music application. Available on the console for ages, the application allows, like Spotify, to stream albums, singles and other works from thousands of artists.
As PS5 players, you can now enjoy three free months of Apple Music, without the need for a PS Plus subscription. The only conditions to meet are to have never subscribed to Apple Music, or to be an eligible returning former subscriber. This last condition remains a little vague, we don’t really know how long ago you must have canceled your subscription, so you will have to check for yourself if you are indeed eligible.
Also note that the offer is for a limited time, you will only have until March 18, 2026 to benefit from it. It is also only availableexclusively on PS5so PS4 players cannot take advantage of it. Furthermore, even if you have access to Apple Music for free for three months, you will only be able to enjoy it on your PS5. It will be impossible to launch the application from your smartphone, for example.
Here’s how to enjoy Apple Music for free for three months on PS5:
- It is necessary to have an Apple account (with a valid payment method) and a PSN account.
- Go to your PS5, search for the Apple Music app via manual search or in the “All Apps” library.
- Download the Apple Music app for free, open it and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Finally, log in to your Apple account. If you don’t have one, create one.
- The three free months will be offered directly to you if you qualify for the offer.
