Following the success of The Crew Motorfest, Ubisoft would have officially made a decision for the rest of the saga. Good news for license fans
Released in September 2023, The Crew Motorfest undeniably met with some success to the public. Considered a potential competing to Forza Horizon 5 In its approach, this third opus was quickly established as the best launch in the history of the Ivory Tower franchise, which has continued since feeding the title with additional content according to the different seasons. What to allow players to wait until a possible fourth opus? It looks good …
A new The Crew would be in development
In a tweet published during the weekend, Tom Henderson, still very well informed, said that a new episode of The Crew was officially validated by Ubisoft. And if he still seems far too early to have more information about him at the moment, the journalist of Insider Gaming has nevertheless shared a detail to say the least intriguing. In response to a surfer asking him the strange question « The Crew ou Motorfest ? »the latter simply replied: « Crew ».
Knowing that Motorfest is considered an episode in its own right, one could wonder about the relevance of such a question. But when you know that this third opus, which slides somewhat with its predecessors, was originally thought of to be a DLC of The Crew 2one could then imagine that this time would be a question of a real suite. Unless Ivory Tower once again decides to go in a completely different direction, and that a new destination adorned with new products is on the program after the United States and Hawaii.
A long road awaits us
Anyway, we should probably not hear about this future episode of The Crew for a while. Because if we do not know when the project was validated by Ubisoft, there is no doubt that we are currently in several years of its release. Until then, we can however continue to count on Ivory Tower to feed Motorfest with new content. Without forgetting that the second opus, unlike its predecessor today disappeared, should soon receive a Off-line mode to ensure its sustainability.
