Bugs that spoil the Sims 4
Pregnancy is a central element in the family oriented parts of Les Sims 4. Many players create entire generations or are challenges like the famous “100 babies”. But since the update, everything has not worked as expected.
Several players, even without mods, have noticed strange behavior. For example, the option “Try to have a baby” has disappeared for certain homes. Others can no longer do a pregnancy test after a report. And sometimes, even if a SIM is pregnant, its belly does not grow. What completely break the immersion in the Sims 4.
EA recognizes the problem (and finally reacts)
Faced with the discontent on the official forums Les Sims 4 and on Discord, EA spoke. The team confirms actively investigating these bugs related to pregnancy. No final solution has yet been announced, but the problem is taken seriously. It is already a relief for part of the community, often annoyed by the lack of responsiveness on certain past bugs.
Pending a full patch, two other bugs will be corrected in the update scheduled for July 10 for Sims 4. It will accompany the release of the new extension Enchanted nature. We already know that the concerns of dragging and dropping for the cleaning and disappearance of the hobbies panel will be set that day. For pregnancy bugs, doubt persists. Nothing guarantees that they will be corrected from this date. But EA invites players to continue to report any abnormal behavior via its forums to accelerate resolution.
As always with the Sims 4, each update brings its share of good surprises … and small failures. This time, it is an essential aspect of the gameplay that is affected. And even if some take these bugs with humor, others are frustrated to have to put their stories on a break.
