A presentation soon for Battlefield 6?
Battlefield fans can blow. Electronic Arts has confirmed that the next episode of the famous FPS series will be presented this summer. No trailer for Battlefield 6 for the moment, but a clear message on the side of the developers. The wait is coming to an end, even if some gray areas remain.
It was Andy McNamara, head of global communication at Battlefield Studios, who reacted on social networks. Arrested about a possible announcement in June, he responded lightly but reassuring. According to him, the team actively prepares the revelation, which will take place this summer. It will therefore be necessary to wait a little longer, probably until July or August, to finally discover the game. Maybe during Gamescom?
A massive project carried by several studios
This new Battlefield 6, still without official name, is developed by a studio alliance united under the Battlefield Studios banner. We find Dice, Ripple Effect, Criterion Games and EA Motive. This large -scale collaboration clearly shows the ambition of the project. According to the latest info, the game is currently in the test phase, with a particular accent on the mechanics of destruction, an emblematic element of the franchise. Small intriguing detail, several members of the team suggested that the solo campaign is inspired by unexpected sources like Dead Space or War civil themes (Alex Garland’s film).
Even if EA remains discreet on the exact date, we already know that the Battlefield 6 game must be released before the end of the 2025-2026 fiscal year, before March 2026. This leaves a reasonable calendar for a presentation this summer followed by a launch next year, probably at the start of the year or this winter.
