Finally, here are the new free trials accessible via the PS Plus Premium subscription, with in this case five titles, including the one now voted as the best of the year.
After the last games of the year for the tiers were put online last week PS Plus Extra & Premiumincluding Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Cat Quest 3, Granblue Fantasy: Relink and Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, there are new free trials for the Premium tier. THE last monththe subscription service had tried to make efforts on this point after the disappointment, in particular by offering to test titles such as Mafia The Old Country, Ready or Not or even The Talos Principle 2 for free for a few hours. At the end of December 2025, just before Christmas, there are therefore five new free trials arriving under the tree, and clearly not the least either.

Sony has once again made efforts to improve the PS Plus Premium’s free game trial benefit, securing trials for the biggest new games of 2025 for this section. It is also pleasant to see improvements in the offers at the highest level of Sony’s subscription service, especially since certain advantages of this particularly expensive level have gradually disappeared or had remained neglected for a certain time.
The free trials of new games offered for PS Plus Premium subscribers in December 2025 follow the additions of November 2025 in this section, which worked to offer big titles such as Mafia: The Old Country, Ready or Not, Lost Soul Aside, and many others. For this last free trial of the year, subscribers are still entitled to some beautiful people, including nothing less than the absolute GOTY 2025 that is Chiaroscuro Expedition 33or Astroneer and Borderlands 4in the most notable of this batch of five games to try for free. - Chiaroscuro Expedition 33 : the absolute GOTY 2025 from the French company Sandfall Interactive, which draws inspiration from the greatest J-RPGs to paint us a magnificent adventure in a dying world – two-hour free trial
- Borderlands 4 : the fourth installment of the legendary franchise that made the looter shooter genre popular, with more guns and crazy builds to take down the Time Keeper of Kairos – Two-hour free trial
- Astroneer : A space sandbox management game alone or with others requiring you to build your base, master resource management and much more – two-hour free trial
- Varlet : A school life RPG where, through meetings with other students, the player will discover a version of himself that he did not know existed – two-hour free trial
- Kill It With Fire 2 : a game of exterminating giant swarms of spiders by any means necessary, and especially fire, alone or in cooperation for up to eight – one-hour free trial
